Cancellation Policy

Welcome to Anamaya Yoga Life

By booking a session, purchasing a package, or accessing the Anámaya Yoga Life website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, govern your relationship with Anámaya Yoga Life.

The term 'you' refers to the client, student, or visitor. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review them periodically. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website.

Participation & Safety

Your wellbeing is our first priority. Before participating in any session, please read the following carefully.

• You confirm that you have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns to your practitioner prior to commencing services. It is your responsibility to keep this information current.
• You agree that you have been examined by a qualified medical practitioner within a reasonable period and have been found fit to participate in yoga and wellness activities.
• Yoga therapy, yoga classes, Zenthai Shiatsu, Hawaiian massage, and Ayurvedic consultations may be physically and emotionally engaging. You participate voluntarily and acknowledge the inherent risk of personal injury.
• You agree to follow all guidance and instructions provided by your Anámaya Yoga Life practitioner. Failure to do so is at your own risk.
• Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment or class. Late arrival may result in a shortened session at the original end time.
• Anámaya Yoga Life reserves the right to decline or discontinue participation by any client at any time, at its sole discretion.
• Anámaya Yoga Life is not responsible for the safekeeping of personal belongings.
• While every effort is made to deliver sessions as scheduled, sessions are subject to change, rescheduling, or cancellation without notice. Anámaya Yoga Life is not liable to refund or compensate for changes resulting from unforeseen circumstances.

Bookings & Payment

• All bookings must be made in advance via our website, booking system, or directly with your practitioner.
• Payment is required at the time of booking or prior to the commencement of your session, unless a prior arrangement has been made in writing.
• Anámaya Yoga Life accepts payment via the methods listed on our website at the time of booking.
• Anámaya Yoga Life reserves the right to pass on any fees arising from disputed, failed, or charged-back transactions to the client responsible.
• By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions in full.

Cancellation Policy

Individual Sessions & Private Classes

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your scheduled session will receive a full credit or reschedule at no charge.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of your session will forfeit the session fee. No credit or refund will be issued.
• Cancellations must be made directly by phone, text, or email to your practitioner. Cancellations via social media are not accepted.
• In the case of genuine medical emergency, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.
• No-shows (failure to attend without prior notice) will forfeit the full session fee.

Group Classes

• Cancellations made more than 3 hours before a group class start time will not incur a fee or forfeit.
• Cancellations within 3 hours of class, or no-shows, will forfeit that class credit.

Practitioner-Initiated Changes

• In the event that Anámaya Yoga Life must cancel or reschedule a session, you will be offered a full credit or the option to reschedule at no charge.
• Anámaya Yoga Life is not liable for any costs incurred by clients as a result of a practitioner-initiated cancellation or change.

Pricing

• All prices are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change without notice.
• Anámaya Yoga Life reserves the right to amend pricing to reflect changes in costs, offerings, or market conditions.
• All purchases are final. Anámaya Yoga Life does not offer refunds, suspensions, or extensions on service packages or services for reasons including but not limited to: change of mind, injury, illness, relocation, or change in personal circumstances.
• All packages are non-transferable unless otherwise stated in writing.

Workshops & Retreats

• All workshop and retreat bookings are final. Anámaya Yoga Life does not offer refunds or credits for change of mind, injury, illness, relocation, or any other reason.
• If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person by notifying us at least 48 hours before the event start time.
• Payment in full is required at the time of booking to confirm your place.
• Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Latecomers may not be admitted, and will be considered a no-show. The full fee will apply.
• Anámaya Yoga Life reserves the right to modify workshop content, dates, or facilitators without notice.

Gift Cards

• Gift cards are redeemable for the service purchased, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
• Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable.
• Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Anámaya Yoga Life accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards.
• Refunds, suspensions, or extensions on gift cards are not offered for any reason. All sales are final.

Service Packages

• Packages are valid for the period specified at the time of purchase. No extensions are offered for unused sessions.
• Packages are non-transferable and may not be shared between clients.
• Refunds, suspensions, or credits on packages are not available for reasons including change of mind, injury, illness, or relocation — except as outlined in the Cancellation Policy above.
• Workshop and retreat attendance is excluded from standard service packages unless otherwise specified.

Online Services

• Online sessions (including video consultations and virtual classes) are subject to the same terms and conditions as in-person services, including the Cancellation Policy set out in Section 04.
• By booking an online session, you agree to these terms in full, including all cancellation, refund, and no-show provisions.
• Clients are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and appropriate space for their online session. Technical difficulties on the client's end do not entitle the client to a credit or refund.
• In the event of a technical failure on the part of Anámaya Yoga Life that prevents a session from proceeding, the client will be offered a rescheduled session or credit.
• Online sessions may not be recorded by clients without prior written consent from Anámaya Yoga Life.

Intellectual Property

• All content on the Anámaya Yoga Life website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and course material — is the intellectual property of Anámaya Yoga Life or is used under licence.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
• The Anámaya Yoga Life name, logo, and associated trademarks are the property of Anámaya Yoga Life and may not be used without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anámaya Yoga Life is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or death arising from participation in our services.
• Our liability for any breach of an implied condition or warranty is limited to re-supplying the relevant service.
• By accessing our website and services, you agree to indemnify and hold Anámaya Yoga Life harmless from all claims, actions, damages, costs, and legal fees arising from your use of our services or website.

Privacy & Jurisdiction

• Anámaya Yoga Life takes the privacy of your personal information seriously. All records are stored securely in accordance with applicable Australian privacy legislation.
• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
• If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
